FROM SPECIFICATION TO PROJECT
Contract changes should be understandable, reviewable and reproducible.
Explore operations, schemas, references and security requirements. Understand what goes in, what comes out and where the contract needs attention.
Start with JSON preferences and explicit exceptions. Review the effect of each rule before exporting an adapted specification.
Keep the rules in your project. Reapply them to incoming contract versions, with clear feedback when something no longer matches.
DESIGNED FOR YOUR TOOLCHAIN
The editor will save a specrefit.yaml configuration. The planned Maven plugin will apply those rules during your build and hand the resulting OpenAPI contract to Fabrikt or another generator.
The output remains an OpenAPI specification.
OpenAPI specificationspecrefit.yamlReady for your generatorYOUR CONTRACTS, YOUR ENVIRONMENT
We are designing SpecRefit for standalone use on Windows, macOS and Linux, without telemetry or a required account. The optional web editor is planned to process contracts in your browser.
Explicitly configured references may use your network. Internal hosting and local execution remain part of the design.
FOLLOW THE PROJECT
SpecRefit is taking shape. Follow the project as the first workflow becomes a working tool.
